Hello everyone! One year since I left Tokyo and I am back on to continue recording my adventures in Japan for you all. As you all know, last Summer I had an incredible internship in Tokyo. It was an experience of a lifetime, from which I made some great friends (whom I will get to meet again in two days!!!) and came to really love the Japanese lifestyle. After my time in Tokyo, I was certain that I wanted to return and live in Japan again somehow.

Well, it happened.

I was hired by the JET program to be an English teacher in the Ishikawa prefecture of Japan. I will be working in seven different elementary and middle schools in "the Noto." The town of Noto is very small and rural with only 20,000 people, so this will certainly be a different experience than what I had back in Tokyo. You may have noticed, I am keeping the blog name "My Time In Tokyo." Even though my location in Japan has changed completely, it is more convenient to keep the same blog address and more importantly, as I explained above, my time in Tokyo is what led me to embark on this continuation of my journey in Japan so it is fitting that this title should remain.

Tomorrow morning at 11:20 a.m. I will board a 14 hour flight to Narita, thus commencing part two of my adventures in Japan!
